Overview
Designed a modern, mobile‑first landing page for Charge Finder, an electric vehicle (EV) charging locator app. The goal was to help drivers quickly understand what the app does and encourage them to download it by highlighting how fast it makes finding a nearby charging station.
What I did
• Created a hero section featuring an EV at a charging station alongside a prominent phone mockup showing the app’s map, ETA, and key actions, so users immediately see how the product works.
• Planned a clear information hierarchy that answers three questions at a glance: what Charge Finder is, how it helps drivers, and how to get started.
• Designed supporting sections for core features (real‑time station search, ETAs, filters), benefits (save time, avoid range anxiety), and social proof (ratings, quotes, or future reviews).
• Built responsive layouts in Figma with a mobile‑first approach, ensuring the page remains easy to read and use on phones and tablets as well as desktop.
• Developed custom icons and illustrations in Adobe Illustrator to keep the visual language consistent and tech‑forward.
• Used AI tools to explore visual directions and content ideas, then refined and finalized the layout and messaging by hand.
Client
Charge Finder – a concept EV charging locator app that helps drivers quickly find and navigate to nearby charging stations.
Tools
• Figma – responsive wireframes and high‑fidelity landing page design
• Adobe Illustrator – custom icons and illustrations
• AI‑assisted ideation – initial asset ideas and copy prompts, edited and refined by me
Outcome
The landing page clearly communicates Charge Finder’s value in a single scroll, showing drivers how the app reduces the friction and stress of finding a charger. The combination of clear messaging, focused visuals, and mobile‑first layout makes it easy for visitors to understand the product and take the next step, downloading the app or joining a waitlist.
